Special supplements for 68th Independence Day celebration of Sri Lanka embassy in Japan.

The 68th Anniversary of Independence Day of Sri Lanka was celebrated at the Kotani Hall Reiyukai Centre in Tokyo on Thursday, 4th February by the Embassy of Sri Lanka in Tokyo with a large gathering of the Sri Lankan community residing in Japan.

At Independence Day Celebrations, His Excellency Maitripala Sirisena the President’s message was stated that, along with dignity of freedom, near future Sri Lanka will build more productive economic links with the international community, in addition His Excellency the ambassador Prof. Ganganath Dissanayake, was stated in his statement that enduring friendship of six decades between Sri Lanka and Japan will be further enhanced in the future. Further more, the Independence Day statements of Mr. Ranil Wickramasinghe, Prime Minister and Mr. Mangala Samaraweera, Minister of External Affairs also delivered to the large gathering.
